During my first term as State Representative, I have:

• Voted for the largest tax cut in state history.

• Helped pass the largest investment in public schools, including an additional $3 million for Vernon.

• Brought a bill to the floor that prevents crumbling concrete from being recycled back into circulation.

• Fixed the pension "cliff" for retirees.

• Helped pass a bill to protect seniors in nursing homes.

• Co-sponsored a law that provides property tax exemption for veterans with a 100% disability rating.

• Passed a bill to streamline teacher certification in CT, which will help put highly qualified teachers in our classrooms.

• Created, and co-chaired, the Civic Education, Civic Engagement & Media Literacy Task Force.
